FireIRC was written because I thought current IRC Clients wern't powerful enough. I beleve a Client can be so customisable you could even make FireIRC a Console IRC Client! With FireIRC your not locked down with unextendable, uncustomisable clients. With FireIRC you get the extendability of SharpDevelop which powers are AddIn Engine. With FireIRC your in control!
